MEETING AND POT LUCK DINNER
Our next business meeting will be held on 27th of August. Pot luck dinner will be served at 6:00 pm and the business meeting will start at 7:00 pm. Please join us, we need your opinions and ideas.
Quilt Raffle Tickets are available for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 with the drawing to be held on December 13, 2014. If you can't attend the meeting contact any of the Auxiliary Members if you wish to buy chances for this quilt.
Join us for the VFW Hamburger Night, Thursday, August 28, 2014, from 5-7 pm at the Livingston Veterans Memorial Building, 1605 7th Street, in Livingston. The public is invited, and you do not have to be a member to attend.
You will be able to enjoy hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and chili. The sandwiches include your choice of homemade salads. Price ranges from $2.00 to $4.50 per meal. All proceeds go to help support our community programs.

Our next breakfast will be held on September 28th and we will be honoring the Gold Star Families. The Gold Star Families are those who have lost a loved one in combat. Breakfast will be served from 8 am to 11 am. Adults eat for $7.00 and children under 12 eat for $5.00. Breakfast consists of Ham or Sausage, Eggs cooked to order, Hash Browns and Pancakes or French Toast or Biscuits and Gravy. All are served with Coffee and Juice.
The next Livingston Community Blood Drive will be August 7, 2014 at the Livingston Veterans Memorial Hall located at 1605 7th Street in Livingston California. By donating one pint of blood you can save up to 3 lives. The Blood Source also collects platelets at this time if you are able to donate. DONATE A VEHICLE FOR VETERANS
(CAR, TRUCK, MOTORCYCLE, BOAT, MOTORHOME, TRACTOR, ETC.)
We will arrange to have towed away any old, wrecked or currently running cars or other vehicles. The title to the vehicle is not necessary, but it would be helpful. All you have to do is call for the vehicle to be picked up and a tow truck to come. A veteran will come and take care of all the paperwork and there is no cost to you. The vehicle donation is tax deductible.

Our next rummage sale will be held on November 6th (9am-5pm), 7th (9am-5pm) and 8th 9am to NOON). All proceeds will stay within our community. If you have items to donate contact us through this publication or call 209-394-2059 to arrange to drop off items or arrange pick up.
